Overview
As part of a Request for Proposal (RFP) sales presentation for Chipotle’s well-being program, I designed a poster, email and brochure to demonstrate the creative services available for promoting the program to associates.
Design elements
I chose imagery and design elements specifically to represent Chipotle’s culture and population. Note the natural wood and galvanized steel textures inspired by architecture seen in their restaurants. The splash of green represents the freshness they’re known for while the casual fonts were inspired by communications promoted on the Chipotle Instagram account.
Overview
This campaign was designed to create awareness of mindful living among St. Joseph Health employees. The materials you see here are a poster, tv slide and email that encourage employees to “just be” by practicing simple techniques for becoming more aware, present and reflective.
Design elements
I worked within the client’s brand guidelines to select fonts and colors. I used photography that captured people in “just be” kind of moments, and used a brush technique to soften the background while also creating a pleasing amount of white space.
The client thought the layout, images and content were some of the best that they had seen from our team.
Overview
This campaign was created to coincide with the Fourth of July and celebrate the freedom of choice to go tobacco-free. The materials you see here are a poster, email and table tent promoting the support available to members of Georgia’s State Health Benefit Plan (SHBP).
Design elements
I used a traditional patriotic layout incorporating red, white and blue with fireworks to tie the holiday theme to quitting tobacco.
Overview
To woo potential customers visiting Healthways’ headquarters, a walking tour was created to highlight the marketing team’s mission, process and results. The materials you see here include displays for walls, digital monitors and conference room windows.
Design elements
My personal design and strategy contributions to the tour included stops 2, 3, 6, 7 and 8. I also documented the script and visuals into this multi-page submission, which won Gold in the 2015 MarCom Awards.
Overview
This email template was created for Lilly’s health coaches to use when sharing weekly well-being tips with members.
Design elements
I designed this email template to have a simple header and one column for body copy where health coaches could easily input their content. The header image and colors varied by season (spring, summer, fall and winter).
Background
The Make Yours Count campaign was created to promote a company’s wellness program to its members and provide steps for getting started. I designed the full campaign—from original concept to production-ready files—as a template that Healthways clients could customize to fit their individual brands.
Overview
For consistency in the campaign’s messaging and visuals, it was important for clients to adhere to campaign guidelines. Using colorful subheads and sample graphics, I designed this easy-to-follow guide for clients to reference when customizing materials.
Bonus
The full campaign was entered into the 2015 MarCom Awards and was a Platinum Winner!
Overview
This campaign was created to keep well-being top-of-mind for wellness program members of Healthways’ clients. It consisted of a unique email and poster for each month.
Design elements
I designed this retro-inspired series with a bold, layered silhouette effect. The approach was a refreshing departure from the lifestyle stock photography Healthways had traditionally provided to clients.
Overview
To show HMSA (Hawaii Medical Service Association) how Healthways could refresh their member marketing materials, I designed these pieces (an email and two fliers) to reflect the lifestyle of island living.
Design elements
I used a vibrant color palette and imagery focused on individuals enjoying their unique environment. I also carried over the well-being icons, which had been prominent on prior pieces, to the new design. Together, these elements refreshed and evolved HMSA’s existing design.
Overview
Georgia’s State Health Benefit Plan (SHBP) wanted a series of posters to promote healthy habits to its members at work.
Design elements
For a new approach on disseminating healthy tips, I created these infographic posters to first draw attention to the subject itself (soda, salt, walking) and then to key facts through the use of typography. This design was intentional to allow readers to skim the piece and absorb the overall message quickly.
Overview
These slides were created for Healthways’ clients who wanted to use workplace TV screens for communicating weekly wellness tips to their members.
Design elements
I designed these TV slides to be short, simple and colorful. The consistent placement of the large, catchy headlines allowed readers to become familiar with the layout and quickly digest each week’s message.
Overview
This piece was created to promote the location of a Ms. Fields franchise event in Las Vegas.
Design
The iconic Las Vegas sign and request to “have fun” were the inspiration behind this bold, colorful piece.
Overview
These informational fact sheets were created as handouts for a Healthways client event.
Design elements
To keep them looking like a family, I kept the header and footer layout similar while swapping fonts and colors for flexibility in the design.
Overview
To prevent award recipients from accidentally throwing away their gift cards with junk mail, the client requested a Lilly-branded mailer that would stand apart from the usual envelopes received.
Design elements
I used this die cut to allow the gift card to be visible through the window, and I provided enough space to customize the artwork with helpful tips to “be fit for life.”
Overview
This custom campaign was created for a Request for Proposal (RFP) presentation, which helped Healthways win the business of Georgia’s State Health Benefit Plan (SHBP). The materials you see here are a poster, intranet banner and landing page.
Design elements
For the branding, showed people exuding inner strength, offering a glimpse of what makes us all unique individuals. Meanwhile, the bold, casual and textured font paired with the natural color canvas were intended to play into the personality of the South.
Overview
This campaign was created to encourage smokers (that were members of a well-being program managed by Healthways) to quit for a day—or longer. The materials you see here are an email, intranet banner and digital flier.
Design elements
Since this was a smaller campaign promoting a single event, I opted to feature the crushed cigarette graphic as the one constant element tying all the pieces together. I chose blue as the primary color to appeal to both a male and female audience. Adding “Yes” to the call-to-action button was intended to increase the click-thru rates.
Overview
I created this piece to advertise TCBY’s products, encourage sales and help sweeten the reward for visiting a store location.
Design
The branding matched the original artwork designed by a local agency supporting in-store point of purchase (POP) materials.
Overview
This 14-day challenge was created for Georgia’s State Health Benefit plan. It highlighted techniques to help reduce the negative emotional, mental and physical effects of stress to improve overall well-being. The materials you see here—a poster, an email and table tent—were used to encourage wellness program members to join the challenge.
Design elements
To support this message visually, I opted for a soft color palette and blurred nature images, which have a proven stress-reduction response. In addition to these enrollment pieces, I also designed 14 unique daily emails, another poster, another table tent and a flier.
